A new report has been released covering the firing of many US attorneys by the Bush Administration. It has long been thought by many that the firings were politically motivated, which is illegal. The report seems to bear this out and all roads in the scandal lead to positions high in the White House. TPM has a good overview the report here. This was one of the first issues about which I wrote on this blog and it well demonstrates just how rotten-to-the-core the Bush White House has been.
