A company called Windspeed Technologies has created a clear bubble for the top of airliners. Called SkyDeck, it allows passengers to have a rotating 360 degree view. Basically, you would be raised into the bubble from below and sit within the glass area as you travel.
Two thoughts.
First, this is really, really cool.
Second, this is really, really, really scary. I'm guessing my fear of heights would really kick in up there.
