"Why is Capital So Much Stronger than Labor?"

A nice essay at TPM by Jared Bernstein.  From the intro to the link by Kay Steiger:

Former White House economist Jared Bernstein takes a look at Thomas Piketty’s book on inequality and points out that one reason capital has become so powerful is because labor has become much less powerful. It's worth a read.
And I want to include this one-line quote simply because I've always loved it.
As another Thomas—Pynchon—said: “If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don’t have to worry about answers.”
