Brown Bear Visit

We had a visitor to our backyard last night after work.  He (she?) did a number on our bird feeders and their mount.  We'll be taking in the feeders for now so as to not attract this attention again, however fun in the moment.  Hopefully, we can come up with a system to have bird feeders in a place where a bear cannot reach them.  The bear had a tracking collar around his neck.

The visit was fun for our newest family member, too.  Finnegan sat fascinated at the back door, just knowing that he could eat that bear if only we'd let him!  Our other cat, Honor, was no where to be seen.  She would have been much more interested in the "picinic" baskets that can always been found where bears roam.  :-)
