My Worst Nightmare: SkyDeck

A company called Windspeed Technologies has created a clear bubble for the top of airliners.  Called SkyDeck, it allows passengers to have a rotating 360 degree view.  Basically, you would be raised into the bubble from below and sit within the glass area as you travel.

Two thoughts.

First, this is really, really cool.

Second, this is really, really, really scary.  I'm guessing my fear of heights would really kick in up there.

Cold Weather Hacks

Found a couple of things that may be worthwhile on The Huffington Post.  One is a solution of rubbing alcohol to melt windshield ice quickly and the other is an ice preventative for roof gutters.  There are two videos that I'm unable to link.  FYI.
